Around 3 a.m., the heavens opened and it poured rain for about 15 minutes. Our big Buddha, being wood, was whisked inside the monks' house to keep him dry. The next morning, the staues were unwrapped, and the strings were taken down. This gorgeous golden image pours water into the lily pond in front of the altar.



Here is the courtyard/plaza with all the images unwrapped.

 

On Sunday morning, we picked up our Buddhas, and brought them home to unwrap.
